Ö-varvet is a new construction and repair/service yard on Öckerö that offers drydocking, repairs and service, conversion, new construction and marine electronics.
We also have production at Hönö where mechanical work such as the manufacture of winches, as well as steel and aluminum constructions is carried out.

Drydocking is the core of our business
Dryingdocking is the core of our business as it is directly necessary for us to be able to offer many of our other services.
We have seven different professional categories that together have the skills and capacity to perform all work in the following areas:
- Construction
- Bottom work such as cleaning and painting
- Sheet metal and welding works
- Plumbing
- Electronics work
- Mechanical engine work
Slip
Ö-varvet today has a modern and rational drydocking function which is the heart of the business. The grinding capacity is 900 tonnes with the dimensions 70 x 12 meters and which can handle ships up to 6.5 meters deep. The mill meets the environmental requirements with a collection chute and collection cistern where we collect the environmental waste for recycling.
Hoist
The ship lift handles ships and boats up to 150 and 300 tons. The lift gives us the opportunity to dry dock many ships during the same period and place them safely in our yard area, which in 2011 has doubled.
Trailer
2 large ship trailers whose function and lifting capacity (50 tons + 150 tons) give us great and safe opportunities to marshal boats and ships in the shipyard area.
Crane
The crane truck with a 90 TM crane gives us great flexibility to dry dock and maneuver boats within the shipyard area and transport to or from our facilities.
